One of the sweetest things that one can get is a message through… well, hehe something different. I like unique, I like different. I can’t wait to see you to give you a hugeeeeee big hug!!!
Thanks Dear! December 29, 2006
3 days to New Year – Partying already??? December 29, 2006
We had this party after work yesterday. It was a pretty good time until the time I had to take my leave.
Hahaha…us gals with Mr Y. Check out the size of that bottle! We all look kinda sheepish.
Big, bigger, biggest! We look like drunkards!
Contented with the size of us bottles – it also relates how much we drink each.
After the round of drinks and food at the office, we headed to Roxy for the second round~
Who can forget us girls? =)
Just a couple of us juniors!
Hehe…eventful day!
Loved! December 28, 2006
Awww…. 3 separate groups of friends have asked me out today. I reckon it’s because of the news that I broke to them. Sorry, I have only one person in me. Man that sounded so damn fucking wrong. But I’ll be meeting my two girlies.
Ms Kuah is sooo sweet. She offered to bring something – “Need me to bring anything? Ice cream? Chocs?”
How sweet is that. At times like these, I really thank God for great friends!
Friendship is sharing tears and laughter over fattening snacks!
Life is like a bus ride. December 28, 2006
I had another conversation with the same client today. And we were talking about life, again. Hahaha… Initially we were talking about love and romance, when I commented that there’s no such thing as that kind of bullshit. Then he replied saying he felt sad for me because
whether its jus a short sparkle or long lasting like diamond …i believe mos pple will get to feel it some pt in their life …may not last of cos
Hmmm….He continued by mentioning that he believes in the phrase cheng jin yong you, which reminded me of that chinese ad (that’s beside the point).
He also said something that made good sense
serious ntg last in this world u r here for a short 50/70 yr span. isnt it nice to feel special even for that beri moment. well things past next special moment can come along dont pine for that once and only once else u pasting life by w/o giving urslef and others that next special moment
Hmmm. What really surprised me if when he also passed me what he thought about life – whereby he used the analogy of a bus. And I quote again…
our life is like a bus journey ….u can imagine u r the bus driver or jus a passenger doesnt matter. along each stop, liek each stages of ur life, pple hop on and pple hop off – ur can new frns and lost old ones …some frns u hv stick with u from first to last terminal; some hv to move on to their other destination and they hv to alight leaving u behind as u move along ur journey keep a look out of the window life pass by too fast try to enjoy the view and learn to appreciate things along the way.
Life moves on …the bus hv to complete its journey – there r always pple who need to alight to move on and they r new pple
joining ur journey. They may or may not accompnay u all the way but while they r on ur bus try to treasure it. If they alight try to look forward ….u got the next stop and new pple come along life hv to go on ….ur journey continues.
Things I learn at work eh?
5 Days – Only friends are up for keeps, the rest can go to hell December 27, 2006
On the 17th Dec 2006, I was out with my buddies from Secondary School. I really really really appreciate this bunch because they were there for me every step of the way this year. This year really indeed has been a bad year and I’m really looking forward to the new year (remind me to do a countdown starting from now). *grin*
Anyway I went to Suntec City for lunch with the boys. We ended up at The Chinese Feasts – Chong Qing Hot Pot where we had Mala Huo Guo (Chinese-style Steamboat). Due to the fact that I had a flu then, I couldn’t really taste anything. The guys did, however, praise the restaurant.
We all did eat so much. Kudos to Mr Lim who ate his best, when the rest of the two of us gave up.
Yay! Food being served, as Mr Lim looked on fervantly.
And did I mention that the Ba-Bao Cha (8-spices tea) is FANTASTIC!!!
An ugly shot of me with Mr Tan, one of my long surviving kors. Thanks for being such a great brother!
Well… So there we go. Chong Qing Hot Pot is not too bad, that’s according to the boys. Believe them or not, try it and you’ll find out!

One thing’s for sure is these boys are MINE. They are my great friends who will last me for a lifetime. I’m so glad to have them.
One, a good friend since secondary school days when we used to write letters to each other. And the other, a good friend whom I’ve found since the beginning of the year.
Love you guys!
4 Days to Christmas – watch Love Actually again? December 21, 2006
Every year, I look forward to the season’s Christmas movie. I’m pretty satisfied with The Holiday. Predictable but good nonetheless. However, my all-time favourite is Love Actually. I have actually watched it at least 5 times, beat that! Hehe…anyway here are my favourite quotes from the movie (the ones in bold are the ones I actually agree with):
Sam: But you know the thing about romance is people only get together right at the very end.
Daniel: Tell her that you love her. You’ve got nothing to lose, and you’ll always regret it if you don’t
Karl: Life is full of interruptions and complications.
Mark: But for now, let me say – Without hope or agenda – Just because it’s Christmas – And at Christmas you tell the truth – To me, you are perfect – And my wasted heart will love you – Until you look like this
Daniel: Well, you know – I thought it might be something worse.
Sam: [incredulous] Worse than the total agony of being in love?
Daniel: Oh. No, you’re right. Yeah, total agony.
Billy Mack: Christmas is a time for people with someone they love in their lives.
Billy Mack: Hiya kids. Here is an important message from your Uncle Bill. Don’t buy drugs. Become a pop star, and they give you them for free.
Daniel: You’ve seen the films, kiddo. It ain’t over ’til it’s over.
Billy Mack: And I realized that as dire chance and fateful cockup would have it, here I am, mid 50s, and without knowing it I’ve gone and spent most of my adult life with a chubby employee. And much as it grieves me to say it, it might be that the people I love is, in fact… you.
The President: I’ll give you anything you ask for – as long as it’s not something I don’t want to give.
Jamie: I love you even when you’re sick and look disgusting.
Mia: I don’t want something I need. I want something I want – something pretty.
5 days to Christmas – Just because it is Christmas! December 20, 2006
Hehehe…I took this a year back, when I was still in Melbourne. Hur hur…look at Kee and I!!! We wanted to look like a typical Japanese gal, are we succeeding? HAHA!
Life’s true meaning December 20, 2006
A client told me this today, about life…
if u keep searching for its true meaning…
dont thk can find lah – makes u a beri unhappy person also
Well, maybe I am trying to find out what life is. I always think there IS a meaning in life.
Life sometimes can be a drag and a bitch, but It still goes on. Life is such. Well, one fine day when I DO actually find out, I’ll jio the client out one day to tell him I did it – that I found the meaning of life.
Happy 21st Birthday Ms Law! December 19, 2006
Last Saturday, before meeting up with the boy, I met up with a couple of them Monash Peeps. We were gathered to celebrate a very very blessed day – Wendy’s 21st! It held at the V-Tea room.

There was alooooot of food, not to mention great company. I was, above other things, amused and entertained by our dear Rongyao, MY one and only shy boy.
This felt alot like a wedding dinner because there were menus, it was a pretty formal setting but we broke away from it because we kept helping ourselves to the free-flow of tea and durian cakes.
A couple of us, before more of her friends streamed in. I kinda felt slightly under-dressed because all the gals were all so prissy, so pretty. BUTTTTT I dressed according to the theme, i wore violet. Heh
The first on the dish was some quiche-like dish. It wasn’t too bad but it was pretty cold by the time it came to us. I didn’t think it was meant to be cold, right?
A ceremonial picture taken with the birthday girl.
YUMMMMMYYYY Birthday cake. V-Tea room cakes NEVER fail to disappoint. Couldn’t really taste their other dessert because I was sick.
*GASP* What is MY shy boy doing??? What happened to the adventures of Shy Boy and Introverted Girl??? *wail*
Heh, overall it was a good Saturday. Good food (slightly tasteless on my part because of the damn flu), great company, what more can you ask for? For more photos, click here.
