I’ll see u when I get there :) September 26, 2008
I woke up to an SMS from one of my cousins telling me that my grand-aunt just passed away. His message was calm and peaceful. Guess we all know where she’s going and I’m glad she didn’t really have to suffer that much.
One time when I visited her in the hospital, she told me serenely that she wouldn’t blame God in whatever circumstances she is in because she knows He’ll carry her through. She even shared her testimony with me about God healing her: she was in church and she told God that if God could heal her, she would believe in Him. True enough, to cut the story short, she was healed. She had no pains in her leg and she was amazed.
She then continued going to church and well, grew in faith. Honestly, I wouldn’t imagine that she would turn to Christ but she did. She used to tell my cousin off when he asked her whether she wanted to visit his church. And I guess God really works in the most mysterious ways sometimes. And while having breakfast with Mr Ex, he also told me that sometimes cannot fanthom what God does.
But nonetheless, I’ll see u in heaven KP3
have you lost something today? August 12, 2008
got this off a friend’s facebook entry…
The art of losing isn’t hard to master;
so many things seem filled with the intent
to be lost that their loss is no disaster.
Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost door keys, the hour badly spent.
The art of losing isn’t hard to master.
Then practice losing farther, losing faster:
places, and names, and where it was you meant
to travel. None of these will bring disaster.
I lost my mother’s watch. And look! my last, or
next-to-last, of three loved houses went.
The art of losing isn’t hard to master.
I lost two cities, lovely ones. And, vaster,
some realms I owned, two rivers, a continent.
I miss them, but it wasn’t a disaster.
—Even losing you (the joking voice, a gesture
I love) I shan’t have lied. It’s evident
the art of losing’s not too hard to master
though it may look like (Write it!) like disaster.

I’m back from Thailand (more updates later).
And no, I didn’t get hammered by ANYONE;
Oh…No..I didn’t lie about my nationality either.
Hmmm going on holidays can be really tiring…trust me when I say that. For the past 3 nights, I couldn’t sleep much. Yesterday was so bad that I started reading Ken’s Health Economics textbook because I could not go back to sleep. Sigh. I hope I can recuperate in time to get back to work on Tuesday.
What I’m really pleased about is the fact that I did a little shopping. I mean, I DID overspend just a weeee bit but…but…but…retail therapy works I tell you. Anyway I shall hit the bed soon, I’m really drained and I need to see my 2 docs tomorrow.
Good night.
Leaving on a jetplane February 1, 2007
Hur hur hur…overused, cheesy line…
Well, I’m waiitn to board the plane, Swiss Air to be exact, and I’m really lookin forward to stepping on foreign land. I just hope the Thais are welcoming, I mean…it’s known to be the Land of Smiles, right? RIGHT?? Someonee back me up here. Hehe…
Anyway I’m quite excited to get out of Singapore – it’s really a long-overdued trip. My first break in, what 1/2 a year?
Be good everyone. I’ll be back before you can even say “Monday”…
~Ciao
Physically tired… January 30, 2007
I slept around the same time as any other day but…I woke up sneezing and sneezing, and sneezing, and sneezing…well you get the idea. That kept me up for close to 1 hour. By the time I went back to sleep, it was almost already time to get up. Sigh… It’s going to be a looooong day. What’s keeping me going is…
1) The Soccer Match between Thailand and Malaysia.
2) My trip to Bangkok…really looking forward to it
3) My Business Venture that us girls are planning and looking into. =)
Yeap… time to head back to work. I wanna go for lunch sooooon. I need a break!
