A strange relationship. January 10, 2007

I’ve this friend whom I’ve known for close to say 3 years? I only became better friends end of 2006 during our graduation. He’s bigger from the first time I met him, bigger in a physical sense. Erm, physique-wise…ALAMAK, fuck you know what I mean lah.

Anyway he’s from Uni and if I remember correctly, he thought that I was aloof and had nothing to talk to me about. That was his impression of me. I’m glad that we got to know each other better the last year.

Enough enough of the mushy bullcrap. I just remembered one of his comments when we were trying to imagine if we were together, to which the thought lasted for less than a minute, because we were almost purging our meals out. We can NEVER imagine being …ULGH together…yuck yuck. That’s almost equivalent to friggin incest! Well, I’m sure he shares the same sentiments. This is because one time he actually said

I would rather fuck a goat than fuck you.

Indeed. I feel the same way, bro. Hahaha… And of course I HAD to say something in retort, and immediately, well almost, I countered saying “I can’t wait to drink with Keith in a room, WITH a goat. Then I can trick him into fucking a goat”

Now that’s a sight eh? hehe

But it’s true. There are some guys whom you can ONLY be friends with. And stupid Mr Loy is one of them. I mean, they know you pretty darn well, just like a sibling. That’s why I said, to think of even being,..*shudder* intimate with someone like that is almost incest! =p

Heh heh…Thanks, mate, for being such a great buddy. And I miss going out with you lah. Hope to see you soon ah! Oh oh…and hope I can get to see you fuck a goat soon *winK*

Christmas isn’t Christmas… January 4, 2007

A first long weekend in a while and on Christmas, I met up with my relatives for our usual meet-up.

Swenson's, United Square My customary lunch with the relatives. The group seems slightly smaller each year.

A couple of us My cousin, his gal and my grand aunt. My cousin, let’s call him lolo (that’s his nickname, been calling him that since I could remember), brought his girlfriend for the gathering. It was his first time bringing someone for our “inspection”. My dad HAD TO be the shit-stirrer, he joked, reassured her saying “don’t woooorrrry, you’re the first girl he brought to us” and dramatically winked at Lolo. Yeeeaaap, that’s my dad.

1st generation The first generation, having kopi.

Adults The parents of lot, also having kopi.

Ahhhh..the youngters...well, the older youngsters Us, with the chao extras. hehee… The older youngsters. Ah, we’re finally growing up.

Coffee sessions Coffee sessions with my cousins, what more can I ask for?

Just us... FINALLY. A decent shot of just us. I can’t wait to see them end January again. I love them!!!

With the boys Out with the boys at night. FIRST TIME, in a long while, that I’m taking a photo with Keith (with another person in the photo – he hates taking photos in threes) Anyway we were at the M Hotel, having ala carte buffet. It wasn’t too bad, considering, it was friggin 60 bucks per person!!! Heh, but because it’s dear Mr Loy’s birthday, I thought of being nice to the birthday boy – treated him lor.

A year older! A year older, a year wiser Mr Loy!!!

My Pseudo Boyfriend for now...hahaha! Mr R Lim and I =) He’s one of my great buddies who helped me through last year! Love ya!!!

Yeah, so there, I ended my Christmas on a mellow note. We were at the Wine Company along Dempsey Road for an hour or so before we headed home. NIceeeeee….I mean I thoroughly enjoyed my Christmas. Christmas isn’t Christmas without your friends and family. =)

5 Days – Only friends are up for keeps, the rest can go to hell December 27, 2006

On the 17th Dec 2006, I was out with my buddies from Secondary School. I really really really appreciate this bunch because they were there for me every step of the way this year. This year really indeed has been a bad year and I’m really looking forward to the new year (remind me to do a countdown starting from now). *grin*

Anyway I went to Suntec City for lunch with the boys. We ended up at The Chinese Feasts – Chong Qing Hot Pot where we had Mala Huo Guo (Chinese-style Steamboat). Due to the fact that I had a flu then, I couldn’t really taste anything. The guys did, however, praise the restaurant.

We all did eat so much. Kudos to Mr Lim who ate his best, when the rest of the two of us gave up.

The waiter helping us. Yay! Food being served, as Mr Lim looked on fervantly.

Ba-bao Cha (8-spices tea) And did I mention that the Ba-Bao Cha (8-spices tea) is FANTASTIC!!!

A photo with my ah-kor! An ugly shot of me with Mr Tan, one of my long surviving kors. Thanks for being such a great brother!

Well… So there we go. Chong Qing Hot Pot is not too bad, that’s according to the boys. Believe them or not, try it and you’ll find out!

One thing’s for sure is these boys are MINE. They are my great friends who will last me for a lifetime. I’m so glad to have them.

One, a good friend since secondary school days when we used to write letters to each other. And the other, a good friend whom I’ve found since the beginning of the year.

Love you guys!

Do first impressions count? December 12, 2006

Wow…I’m overwhelmed. There are so many features in wordpress. I’m impressed. Even though I’m extremely dependant, or well, used to blogger.com, I wanna try out this blog space.

Okok…before I start rambling and rattling off, as usual, this is my virgin entry. Guess I’ve nothing much to say, except for the fact that I’m quite excited to start a whole new journey with wordpress. Too much has happened and it’s all written in my other blogs. I want a new start, new beginning.

Okkk…after the end of the year, I shall start writing in this blog proper. Hell, I’ll even throw in a celebration (drinks too, all of you are invited) for the blog. Whatever blogs I have, I will direct it to this blog. New year, new beginning – I really deserve it.

So, here we go. A new chapter in my life. Welcome to…the chronicles of Renzi’s life.
